The Independent Church of Australia The Centre is an Esoteric Christian movement- a community of people seeking a deeper understanding and experience of Christ . It was founded by Reverends Mario Schoenmaker and Colin Read in 1975. Priests are ordained into the Order of Melchizedek. The Bible is a treasury of meta-physical and esoteric knowledge. The current focus of human evolution is the development of spiritual individuality. The human soul reincarnates in order to progress. The Cross is a sign of victory. It also symbolises the balance of masculine and feminine within and the intersection of time and space. Chi-Rho PX is the ancient symbol for "Christ is King". The Book with Seven Seals is our body with its seven spiritual centres which are our potential powers. The Lamb is the Christ within.
