Michael is not only the destroyer of the old, he is also the creator of the new. With him a new time period has begun, and for this reason we call him, "The Time Lord" or "The Time Spirit". Michael gives new incentives, new imaginations, and new creative intent. He does not want you to copy the old, but rather to create something which comes from the very depths of your being. He assists in creating a new heaven and a new earth and, at present, his focus is on this earth.

From the Meriti
THE SPIRITUAL FESTIVAL OF MICHAELMAS is a time of stillness and inner self reflection. It is a time of awakening. It is a time of drawing inward, becoming still and aware of self. It is through our experience and response to the spirit within that we are awakened to new incentives and imaginations given to us through the working of Archangel Michael and are strengthened in our creative intent to live a life more align with spiritual purpose.
Michaelmas is also a time for us to celebrate creativity – our new, creative beingness, actions and accomplishments that are the fruitfulness of the growing communion between the spiritual and physical dimensions of our being.
Our warmest greetings to you this Michaelmas. May your reflections and activity be rewarded with the new incentives, new intentions and new creative intent this festival promises.

Come to us, creative spirit,
In our Father's house;
Every human talent hallow,
Hidden skills arouse,
That within your earthly temple,
Wise and simple,
May rejoice. |
Word from God eternal springing
Fill our minds, we pray;
And in all creative vision
Give integrity:
May the flame within us burning
Kindle yearning
Day by day. |
|
|
Poet, painter, music-maker
All your treasures bring;
Craftsmen, actor, graceful dancer
Make your offering;
Join your hands in celebration:
Let creation
Shout and sing! |
In all places and forever
Glory be expressed
To the Son, with God the Father
And the Spirit blessed:
In our worship and our living
Keep us striving
For the best.

Words of a song sung by us at this Michaelmas celebration. |
|
The address by Rev Robert is coming. |
The Archangel Michael enlivens, corrects and inspires our emotions and feelings of love. Passions are changed into compassion; enthusiasm is changed into care, thoughtfulness, peace and courage. This in turn affects our minds as well, so that we can make clear decisions and have the ability to inspire, lead, guide and assist in the changes which are about to come about on the face of this earth.
