2008:
THE YEAR OF FAITH
Each year we
publish the Midnight Mass address and the Word of the Year in a small publication.
This came about so through reading this from time to time we can be reminded
of the spirit of the Christmas season, the newly born within us. We know that
something new has begun, and the year ahead is about our gradual conscious discovery
of what that new may be. At the start of a new year we do not know what lies
ahead. We can only be guided by a sense that something different is unfolding,
however most of this is unknown. We require the spiritual faculty of faith to
assist us in this journey, in particular in this year, named the Year of Faith
by our Meritus, Rev Antoinette Schoenmaker. This booklet is therefore a companion
